Through targeted exercises and manual techniques, this session helps correct imbalances, reduce tension, and enhance overall physical well-being. Ideal for individuals recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions, or seeking to improve posture and movement efficiency.
PHISIOTHERAPY SESSION
A specialized therapeutic treatment that focuses on restoring movement and function to the body. This evidence-based approach combines manual therapy, exercise, and education to help patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve overall physical well-being.
PHISIOTHERAPY LEVEL
- Light: Gentle and gradual stretches
- Moderate: Firm stretch, moderate intensity
- Hard: Deep and intensive stretches
Techniques
Manual Therapy: Hands-on techniques to improve joint mobility and reduce pain.
Therapeutic Exercise: Targeted movements to improve strength, flexibility, and function.
Kinesiology Taping:Elastic tape applied to support muscles and joints without restricting movement.
Postural Re-education: Training to improve body alignment and reduce strain.
Respiratory Therapy:E Techniques to improve lung function and breathing mechanics.
Balance and Gait Training: Exercises to improve stability and walking patterns.
BENEFITS OF PHISIOTHERAPY
Pain Relief: Reduces chronic or acute pain through manual therapy, exercises, and modalities.
Improved Mobility and Flexibility:Restores range of motion and makes everyday movements easier.
Injury Recovery: Supports safe and effective rehabilitation after injuries or surgeries.
Posture Correction: Helps improve alignment and prevent strain or discomfort.
Chronic Condition Management: Supports conditions like arthritis, fibromyalgia, or back pain.
Enhanced Physical Function: Restores the ability to perform daily activities or sports.
Improved Breathing and Circulation: Helps with respiratory conditions and promotes better overall circulation.
Therapy Risks
Osteoporosis (fragile bones may fracture or cause pain)
Fractures (pressure may worsen the injury)
Recent Surgery (may interfere with the healing process)
Uncontrolled Hypertension (certain poses may raise blood pressure)
Severe Cardiac Conditions (physical exertion may trigger cardiac events)
Acute Inflammation (may aggravate swelling or pain)
Cancer / metastatic bone cancer (certain techniques may increase risk of injury)
Burns or Healing Wounds (could cause irritation or delay healing)
Neurological Disorders /epilepsy (may require adapted protocols to avoid triggers)
Recommended Frequency
General Well-being & Pain Prevention:
3× per month (to maintain mobility, relieve muscle tension, support posture, and reduce the risk of chronic pain or discomfort in daily activities)
Rehabilitation & Functional Recovery:
5× per month (to rebuild strength, improve joint function, restore range of motion, support recovery from injury, and prevent future issues)
SUGGESTIONS AFTER PHYSIOTHERAPY
Drink plenty of water to rehydrate and support the release of tension and metabolic waste from the muscles.
Rest and Recover. Allow your body time to absorb the therapy (avoid intense physical activity right after).
Practice prescribed exercises. Continue with your assigned stretches or exercises to enhance the effects of the session.
Keep Good Posture. Maintain awareness of your posture to support alignment and reduce tension.
Follow Up consistently. Attend your next session as scheduled for consistent progress.
Use supportive equipment If needed. Braces, orthotics, or kinesiology tape should be kept on as advised.
